San Gabriel Valley Community Land Trust 2026 Eaton Fire Survey Report

SGVC Land Trust just released their survey as of March 2026. The report highlights a recovery process that is still deeply uneven. It also shows strong interest in community recovery models, alongside a major gap awareness about SGVCLT’s work. This goal of the report is to make visible where survivors are in their recovery process, as well as ground ongoing conversations about recovery, housing, and long-term community ownership in what residents are actually experiencing. Some of the figures they report are 60% of respondents remain displaced; 74% want to return to the Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre area; 56% say finances are a barrier to staying.
