Share EFRU’s Standing-Home Resources With Other Survivors

EFRU has recently spoken with several audiences about how Eaton Fire survivors organized around indoor contamination, testing and safe return. EFRU’s presentation at the Asbestos Awareness and Prevention Conference (AAPC) sponsored by the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) describes how the organization formed weeks after the fire and how resident-collected contamination data helped build the case for AB 1642. The LA Rising podcast covers EFRU’s work since January 2025 and the Aug. 18–19 Sacramento advocacy trip with Dena Rise Up for AB 1642. At the After the Fire USA Wildfire Leadership Summit, EFRU joined the “From Survivor Voice to Collective Power” panel on turning lived experience into organized recovery action. Below are links to the talks so you can share this information with others in the Eaton and Palisades fire-affected communities who have standing homes.
