Last week we shared how EFRU was proud to announce AB 1642, the Wildfire Environmental Safety and Testing Act, passed its first hearing on March 10—a major community-driven step forward after 80+ organizations and 600+ individuals signed on in support of stronger, health-based wildfire contamination testing. There is still a long road ahead before AB 1642 becomes law, and we will need your continued support in the months ahead as it continues to the Appropriations Committee.
