Support the CARE Fund and Join the August 18-19 Sacramento Advocacy Trip

The Eaton Fire Collaborative Advocacy Committee and Dena Rise Up are asking survivors and recovery partners to urge state leaders to support the proposed $25 million Community Aid for Rebuilding and Equity Fund. A two-day Sacramento trip begins Tuesday, August 18: participants meet at the Pasadena Job Center at 8:30am, attend a 9am press conference, and depart by bus at 9:30am for an overnight stay. Advocacy at the State Capitol begins Wednesday, August 19 at 8am; the bus departs Sacramento at 3pm and is scheduled to return to the Pasadena Job Center at 10pm. The trip supports the CARE Fund, AB 1642, and other recovery priorities.
