Recording for EFRU Speaker Event: SBA Disaster Loans for Surviving Homes

On Monday, April 20, EFRU hosted Kim Wetherby and Lamonica Lacey for a discussion on how SBA disaster loans may help standing-home survivors pay for work insurance is not covering. SBA disaster loans can fund testing and remediation when insurance will not, including critical steps that are often excluded or underpaid, such as indoor contamination testing, remediation and restoration, engineering, and soil work. The event covered what may qualify, how to access these funds, and how they can support the actual recovery needs standing-home survivors are facing.
