Catholic Charities
Disaster Case Management through Catholic Charities can help survivors navigate FEMA, housing, resources, long-term recovery planning, and unmet needs. This can be especially important for survivors whose insurance coverage is ending or whose FEMA case requires follow-up.

Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County

Other Emergency Housing
HPP Cares
HPP Cares provides free disaster-recovery case management for uninsured, underinsured, and fully insured wildfire survivors. Its counselors help families navigate temporary and long-term housing, FEMA resources, mortgages, insurance claims, rebuilding, demolition, debris removal, and restoration or remediation.
The organization also helps survivors understand insurance coverage, challenge potential low settlements, evaluate contractors, review construction contracts, manage rebuilding funds, and avoid fraud or predatory practices. Through its Wildfire Fund, HPP Cares may also provide direct assistance for immediate food, housing, and clothing needs.
Union Station Homeless Services
USHS is offering financial assistance for households that have been directly impacted by the Eaton Fire. Assistance is available in various forms depending on the need of the household and ranges from one-time financial assistance (e.g. security deposit, rental payment, rental arrears, etc.), motel vouchers, or rental assistance for households that need more than one month of assistance while recovering from the devastation of the fire.
If your property was impacted by the Eaton Fire, you can speak to an attorney about filing a lawsuit against Southern California Edison for damages to recover any out of pocket expenses you incur with the recovery of your property.
Although SCE is currently offering settlement packages, you may be able to recover more if you are able to file a lawsuit and can wait for the litigation process to occur. The above financial support programs may offer assistance in the meantime.
