Altadena Commercial Concierge Program

Los Angeles County’s Department of Economic Opportunity is enrolling Altadena small businesses, nonprofits, and commercial property owners in two linked recovery services. Altadena SmallBiz Permit Express provides pre-submittal guidance, a dedicated case manager, priority inspections, and a stated goal of reducing the permit-application submission-to-approval timeline by 25%. Business Technical Assistance provides an individualized recovery action plan, one-on-one support, and connections to County and partner resources. Permit Express applicants must be pursuing permits or licenses to open, rebuild, or build commercial space in Altadena, provide proof of business, nonprofit, or commercial-property ownership, and generally have fewer than 100 employees and average annual revenue of $10 million or less over the previous three tax years. Technical-assistance applicants must be pursuing current or future Altadena operations and meet comparable size and ownership requirements.
