CalAssist Mortgage Fund: Apply by November 2

Applications close Monday, November 2, 2026. Eligible homeowners affected by qualifying California disasters may receive a grant covering up to 12 months of mortgage payments, subject to program rules and funding limits. Grants are paid toward the mortgage and do not have to be repaid. A severely damaged or uninhabitable primary residence and other income/property requirements may apply. Applying is free.
