EFRU is organizing door-to-door outreach to residents who returned to standing homes without independent indoor contamination testing. Teams of two volunteers will distribute information about potential wildfire smoke and ash hazards, professional testing, and approaching insurance-related decisions. Volunteers are asked to commit 2.5 hours on Saturday, November 14 or Sunday, November 15, with check-in at The Hub, 2333 Lake Ave., Suite 2A, Altadena. The campaign aims to reach more households before recovery and insurance decisions become harder to reverse.
