FEMA Appeals Help Is Available
If you applied for FEMA disaster relief and disagree with FEMA’s decision, you have the right to appeal. The FEMA appeal deadline is July 9, 2026. Survivors should not wait until the deadline to seek help, especially if they are also running out of ALE, need rental assistance, or are confused about their FEMA case. Free legal support is available through organizations including LAFLA and Neighborhood Legal Services LA. Disaster Case Management can also help survivors navigate FEMA, housing, paperwork, referrals, and long-term recovery planning. NExt FEMA clinic is Sunday, May 31.
