Research Study for Parents, Educators, and Students Ages 14–17
The Climate Mental Health Network and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign are studying how the 2025 Los Angeles fires affected school communities and how schools can support emotional wellbeing and recovery. Eligible participants include a parent or caregiver of a directly affected student in a Los Angeles County public school; an educator or school staff member at a directly affected Los Angeles County public school; or a directly affected student age 14–17 attending a Los Angeles County public school. Participation is a one-time online focus group lasting about 90 minutes, offered in English and Spanish. Participants receive a $50 Visa gift card.
