Citizens Business Bank Rose Scholarship

To be considered for a scholarship, students must be graduating seniors as of May or June 2026 from a PUSD high school. Applicants are invited to submit a creative piece that reflects their future dreams, goals, and aspirations.

For the scholarship application submission, we are requesting the following from students:

1. A creative piece that reflects your future goals and plans. Creative Piece examples: painting, sculpture, poem, song, interpretive dance, or direct a mini documentary. All media and art forms are welcome.
2. One written recommendation. There is no minimum GPA requirement. Instead, please obtain a written recommendation (PDF format) from one teacher, coach, counselor or community organization leader. The recommendation should be on the school/ organization letterhead.
3. A one-page reflection. Describe your thoughts and feelings about the creative piece. Describe your work, story, and inspiration for the piece and answer the question: Why do you want to be a Rose Scholar?
4. Capture still images and/or videos (only if applicable to your creative piece). Still images should be clear and high-resolution images of your creative piece (if applicable, i.e. a sculpture).

There is no minimum GPA requirement for Rose Scholars presented by Citizens Business Bank. For the students who receive a scholarship, they will be required to submit a copy of the acceptance letter from the school they plan on attending. Students will be required to submit this document AFTER they are notified of the award.
