Roots and Rays: $1,000 Grants for Survivor-Led Summer Gatherings

The Department of Angels is offering grants of up to $1,000 for survivor-led gatherings centered on healing, joy, connection, and community. Individuals and organizations may propose block parties, children’s activities, arts and crafts, cultural celebrations, and other gatherings. Applications are open through July 7; selected applicants are expected to be notified in mid-July, and funded events must take place in August or September 2026. Action: Apply by July 7 and share the opportunity with survivors or community groups planning a summer gathering.
