The Gooden Center is a nonprofit residential treatment program for men and women recovering from mental health and substance use challenges. It combines clinical, holistic, and experiential therapies in a supportive home-like setting designed to help clients build toward independent, productive lives. Licensed by the state of California for mental health residential treatment and accredited by CARF, Gooden is also committed to accessibility through broad insurance acceptance, self-pay rates well below many for-profit facilities, and free therapeutic aftercare for clients and their families after treatment ends.
