301 Organics Free Soil Clinic on October 3

301 Organics is hosting a free Soil Clinic on Saturday, October 3, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., supporting the Altadena Soils Relief Fund. The hands-on clinic will cover compost, soil testing, soil biology, native tree planting, and practical approaches to restoring healthy soil after the Eaton Fire. Participants can see a live compost extract demonstration, ask questions of Soil Stewards and Composting Technicians, and learn about composting practices and ways to protect themselves amid ongoing concerns about soil contamination. Fresh, biologically active local compost will also be available to take home. The location will be provided to registered participants two days before the event. Space is limited to 20 participants.
