Cal State Fullerton Seeks Eaton Fire Survivors for Oral History Project

Cal State Fullerton is inviting Eaton Fire survivors to share their experiences as part of the Southern California Urban Wildfires Oral History Project. The project is interviewing homeowners, renters, first responders, workers, business owners, and others affected by the Eaton, Palisades, and other Southern California wildfires, with interviews taking place during Fall 2026 and typically lasting 1–3 hours. The project says anonymity has been provided to many Eaton Fire participants because of ongoing litigation, but residents should confirm the privacy and archival terms that would apply to their own interview.
