Countywide Emergency Alert Test Is Monday at 10:25 AM

LA County and the National Weather Service will conduct a countywide test of the Non-Weather Emergency Message / Civil Emergency Message system on Monday, September 21 at 10:25 a.m. The test is intended to familiarize residents with alerts used for urgent non-weather emergencies such as hazardous-material incidents and other civil emergencies.

Action: Sign up for LA County emergency alerts before the test and make sure your household knows how it will receive emergency information.
