Edison Reports $700 Million in Eaton Fire Payout Offers, Sets Tuesday Community Meeting

Southern California Edison reported more than $700 million in offers through its voluntary Eaton Fire compensation program and scheduled a community meeting to answer questions. Accepting an offer requires claimants to give up the right to sue, may pay less than litigation, and may prevent residents from suing for future health impacts that may develop in the future.
