EFRU Honored at EFC Annual Event and Recognized by Senator Perez

Eaton Fire Residents United is honored to have received the Recovery Leadership Award at the Eaton Fire Collaborative Annual Meeting. As part of the Annual Meeting, the Eaton Fire Collaborative recognized outstanding members and organizations whose leadership, collaboration, service, and commitment have made a meaningful impact on recovery efforts this year. EFRU is deeply grateful to be included among those recognized.

EFRU also received an Award of Recognition from Senator Sasha Renée Pérez for our work as an Eaton Fire Collaborative Outstanding Member Honoree. This recognition reflects the collective efforts of residents, volunteers, scientists, advocates, and community partners who came together after the Eaton Fire to demand answers, document post-fire contamination concerns, support impacted families, and advocate for a safe, just, transparent, and equitable recovery.

EFRU was formed because residents needed clear information, public health protections, and recovery standards grounded in evidence. Receiving the Recovery Leadership Award and recognition from Senator Pérez is a meaningful acknowledgment of that work, and a reminder that recovery is not just about rebuilding structures, but about protecting people, health, homes, and community.

Thank you to the Eaton Fire Collaborative, Senator Sasha Renée Pérez, and everyone who continues to stand with fire survivors as we work toward long-term safe recovery for the LA Fire impacted communities.
