Parents: Learn How Wildfire Exposure May Be Affecting Your Children's Health

What are the long-term health risks of wildfire smoke and toxic contamination for our children, and what can parents do to reduce those impacts? The Pediatric Firestorm TEAM (PFire) is hosting its second annual conference on November 21, 2026, 8am-4pm, bringing together medical experts, scientists, and community advocates to discuss wildfire exposure, children's physical and mental health, and practical steps families can take to minimize ongoing health risks.

Parents affected by the Eaton, Palisades, Lineage, and other wildfires are encouraged to attend, whether your home was destroyed, survived the fire, your children attend school in or near a burn area, or your family was exposed to smoke and ash in other ways. Hear directly from experts about protecting your children's health. Located at Children's Hospital at 4650 W Sunset Blvd, LA, free admission and parking, with breakfast and lunch provided. Virtual attendance is also available.
