Small Business Mobility Fund - Deadline Is March 31

LA County Department of Economic Opportunity’s Economic Mobility Initiative has made available the Small Business Mobility Fund. Its mission is to reduce barriers to business success by expanding access to education, training and technical assistance, and capital to small businesses across all five Supervisorial Districts. Applications open for Launch Grants until March 31st, 2026 at 11:00 PM and ongoing for Formalization Grants until dollars exhausted.

Launch Grants range from $5,000 to $10,000 to help new entrepreneurs and small businesses in Los Angeles County cover essential start-up and business expansion costs. Learn more and apply here.

Formalization Grant for sidewalk vendors operating in unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County who were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and began their business before March 2023. The grant is intended to help eligible vendors get permitted and come into compliance with the County’s Sidewalk Vending Ordinance. Learn more and apply here.
