Researcher Letter Urges Agency Action on Widespread Thallium Exceedances in CAP.LA Results

Dr. Andrew Whelton of Purdue University and his research partners from the LA Fire impacted communities, Eric Bolton and Tracy Quinn, formally notified public health and environmental agencies as well as local electeds that CAP.LA residential soil testing in the Palisades and Eaton Fire areas shows widespread thallium concentrations exceeding health-based screening levels and urged coordinated agency investigation and clear guidance for residents, workers, and contractors.
