Federal Funding Includes Nearly $1.6 Million for Altadena Projects

Congresswoman Judy Chu announced a Fiscal Year 2026 community-project funding package totaling more than $13 million across the 28th Congressional District.

Altadena projects include $500,000 for improvements and accessibility upgrades at the Altadena Community Center and $1.092 million for an Altadena Public Sewer Enhancement Project intended to extend sewer service to approximately 600 properties that currently or previously relied on septic systems. This is a roundup of FY2026 funding secured for district projects, rather than a new August 19 appropriation.
